Sometimes we need deeper conversations and longer chats. A demo that’s tailor made, a technique explained in detail. Permission to keep digging, to ask more questions. Help finding our way out of a hole or to reignite our curiosity… These hour long 1:1 sessions are guided by you and your needs. Focusing on your creative development, we’ll take an in depth look at your work, share ideas, discuss processes and next steps. I do not pretend to have all the answers but my aim is to extract from you the strengths within your own work and to develop real ways forwards for you.

Format

Sessions take place online via Zoom and last one hour. I will send you a link to Padlet and ask you to share some examples of your work with me at least 24 hours before our session, this could be photos of paintings, sketchbook spreads, drawings, studies, ideas or research material, plus any questions or particular areas you are looking for support with. We will use this as a basis for creating a process for moving forwards. My aim is to keep sessions flexible to suit your unique development; we may spend time on a live demo in paint, collage or mixed media, or find ourselves talking in depth about one painting. What we do will depend on what feels useful to you and we will discuss this when we meet. You will finish your session with some next steps and I will follow up with a short summary via email.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a session please notify me as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours beforehand, for an alternative date or a full refund. Where your session is part of a block booking and you would like a refund I will only be able to refund you for your unused session(s) and your refund will be calculated by deducting the equivalent single booking value of any used sessions from the original block booking value. If you fail to turn up for a session or cancel less then 24 hours beforehand then I will not be able to offer a refund, but I will do my best to offer an alternative date where possible but I cannot guarantee this.

If I need to cancel a session I will aim to do so with as much notice as possible and will provide an alternative date. If I am unable to arrange an alternative date then I will refund you for the cancelled session. Where your session is part of a block booking and you would like a refund I will only be able to refund you for your unused session(s) and your refund will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
